A couple of weeks ago, Ask Denovo provided a short video on how to build the security out for the Oracle-provided Enterprise Automation pages. We got some feedback and questions about that video - thank you to our avid subscribers!
Question: I got the error "Object is Currently Unavailable" when I tried adding the IMAGE security. How do I get it added?
Answer: There is a known Bug (2838090) for this. Until this is fixed, you can handle the security back on the UDO Workbench itself by finding the IMAGE object (the Order to Cash one was IMG_2403110001JDE), and taking the Row exit to Advanced -> Security.
Question: I got the page to render everything and have no grayed-out objects, but when I click on the "Backorders," I get another page with empty boxes in the middle. How do I see these?
Answer: Backorders is another Composite Page with its own list of dependent UDOs. Boxes that either show all white or continue to show "Loading" can be fixed by following the same steps as the original video posted in the February 12th "Tips & Tricks: Enterprise Automation Page Security Setup" blog.
Question: What do I do when the graphic shows the "No data to display" message?
Answer: During the recording, I had my "Zoom" on my JDE screen set to 120% which was too large to see the "hamburger" menus available on the graphs. Check out this short video on how to see them and work with these Queries.
