Approval Delegation in the new P43281 application allows delegation with Effective Dates! The old one, P43280, was a delegation you had to then revise once the original approver was back. Now adding the delegate allows you to define the timeframe!

If that wasn't cool enough, this new application stores history for a clear audit trail of delegates. In the inquiry, you can review past delegations:
We strongly recommend implementing this as soon as you upgrade or even during your upgrade to start capturing this delegation history. You can swap this application (and its new version of it as needed) with any occurrence of P43280 in your system, securing as needed (although it is recommended for *PUBLIC to add Column security to the alias DELFRMID to view only, so end users can't add).
