It's the holiday season! This year is fairly unique - four of the major holidays begin or are on the same days. Christmas Day was also the start of Hanukkah! Boxing Day is also the start of Kwanzaa! With all these "holiday stars" aligning, Ask Denovo thought it would be fitting to share how you can tell if a date is a holiday (or a weekend, work day, etc.) in JD Edwards!
There is a business function, B1700690 - F0007 Get Day of Week BSFN, which only requires the Branch/Plant and the Date. It will return the day of the week and the type of day based on your Workday Calendar for the Branch/Plant.
