Those users who have been on JDE for many years have been using the Grid Import function with great success. However, what most folks don't realize is the ease of using copy/paste from Excel straight into a grid without the need for Import.

More often than not, it is much easier with fewer clicks and actions. If you try it and it doesn't work, check that the number of rows you're bringing in doesn't exceed the limit of what you'd have with an Import.  Copy/paste can also be done surgically in a single column, not just for a whole Grid.  

Reminder: When pasting into JDE, with your cursor in the field you want to paste into, use the Control+V keyboard command to do the paste itself.  

Try it the next time you need to do an import.  Hopefully this helps!
