Last week we got the conversation going about Activity-Based Coding, specifically the Cost Object fields that act much like the Subledger field. This week we wanted to finish the thought on how you can summarize these Cost Objects similarly to how you review Trial Balance by Subledger.

There is a Cost Object Analyzer Setup you build for each fiscal year and for the Cost Objects you're using, like this:

Then you can put the Analyzer Build UBE (R1602) on a scheduled job to run nightly which builds out the F1602 similar to the F0902! Then you can inquire on your Cost Objects in the Cost Analyzer Detail like this, showing Net Revenue by Customer, for example, here:
