Tips & Tricks - One View Inquiry Screens

Written by Denovo | Jan 15, 2026 2:32:51 PM
I recently had a client ask if they were "allowed" to use One View Inquiry screens if they aren't licensed for One View Report Foundation. The answer is yes! Oracle has many of their out-of-the-box graphic applications (JET apps), Watchlists, Queries, and Composed Pages built on these very screens. Oracle (and Ask Denovo) has been pushing to get companies to embrace these UDO's, and part of this is embracing the One View Inquiries. These screens are incredibly useful for viewing more than just a small data set in regular inquiry screens.  For example, the One View Inventory Valuation Analysis Inquiry (P41271) joins tables F41021 and F4101.  This screen allows you to do QBE searches over Quantity On-Hand based on Item Master Category Codes.  For a complete list of these inquiry screens, check out this past Ask Denovo blog.
