# Stars, Stripes, and ERP: Celebrating July 4th with JD Edwards Freedom!

As fireworks light up the sky and grills sizzle across the nation, we’re reminded that **freedom** is at the heart of Independence Day. But while America celebrates its independence from colonial rule, JD Edwards users everywhere are celebrating a different kind of freedom—**freedom from manual processes, outdated systems, and spreadsheet chaos!**

Just like the Founding Fathers drafted the Declaration of Independence, your IT team has probably drafted a few declarations of their own:

- “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all data should be accurate and real-time.”
- “That users are endowed with certain unalienable rights, that among these are automation, integration, and the pursuit of uptime.”

And let’s be honest—if George Washington had JD Edwards Orchestrator, he probably would’ve crossed the Delaware with a fully automated logistics plan and real-time weather alerts.
